INDEPENDENT EXHIBITOR POLICY 2017

Entry deadlines: Adult and Junior – Feb. 1st ~ 1
The California Mid-Winter Fair & Fiesta welcomes Independent Exhibitors. Please be sure to review all the Fair’s rules regarding participation in the Fair as an Independent Exhibitor. Unfortunately, without a supporting organization the burden to gather information and meet deadlines is all on the exhibitor and their family. All information will be available on www.ivexpo.com. The Fair has outlined the requirements and encourages contacting the Fair via email with any questions. Emails should be sent to office@ivexpo.com.
All Independent Exhibitors must complete the following requirements to participate in the upcoming California Mid-Winter Fair & Fiesta.
1. Independent Exhibitors must follow all State and Local Rules set forth by the Fair for the project he/she will participate in.
2. Independent exhibitors need to meet all deadlines; including, but not limited to the following:
a). Ear tagging/DNA ownership deadline
b). Pre- registration logs
c). No Go-No Show
d). On-line entry deadline
3. Independent Exhibitors must complete the Fair’s Independent Enrollment Form, providing contact information and Emergency numbers to the Fair.
4. Independent Exhibitors must participate in the Fairs mandatory clean up days and any mandatory meetings for participation in the Fair’s livestock program.
5. Minimum insurance requirements (TBD) must be in place and approved through Fair’s office by February 1st.
6. A Project Report/Record Book must be completed and will be the discretion of the leader/advisor/parent to ensure that exhibitors fulfill their specific project skill requirements.
7. Checks will be distributed based on the Fair’s Check Distribution policy. The Fair will release checks to the Independent Exhibitor’s parents after confirmation of Thank You note(s) to the Buyer(s) has been made and the final Project Report has been accepted. Exhibitor’s should make a copy of their Thank You note and place it in their Project Report.
For participation in the Fair, ALL Organizations (4-H, FFA, or Independents) must be in good standing with their organization and the Fair.
